About us
We organize regular babywearing workshops, get-togethers, and special events in and around Central London.
Heather was one of the volunteers involved in planning this year’s Summer Sling Show, and will be working with her colleagues at the Trageschule booth on the day, giving free impartial babywearing advice, so stop by! With over 20 vendors, and dozens of brands represented, there will be hundreds of slings and carriers to try before you buy. Highlights of the day include a fabulous babywearing fashion show and a fun Conga Roo salsa dance class for parents wearing babies in slings! A fun day out for the family.
Our next regular meeting will be held on Monday, 4th August, from 10.45 am to 12.45 pm at Holy Redeemer Church Hall in Exmouth Market, EC1R 4QE. The theme is ‘Wear & Share,’ so bring your slings, questions, and, if you can, your nut-free home baking! Don’t worry if you don’t bake - just be prepared to eat! ‘I discovered the joy & practicality of babywearing after the birth of my spirited son Atticus, who is now 3. I recently completed the first level of Die Trageschule Babywearing Instructor’s Course, and am preparing for the advanced course in October. I am passionate about the benefits of babywearing, and want to share my knowledge and experience with other mothers, fathers, nannies, grannies, granddads, nursery staff, health workers and anyone else who will listen!’
